St.Augustine

We left our house about noon & we had both dogs loaded on board with us , it was their first time in the rig…. So they were nervous. Shit , u think the dogs were nervous … u should have seen me… I was very nervous about John driving such a big rig…. With the motorcycle trailer attached we are about 53ft long!! But guess what? John did an amazing job , he has driven our toyhauler for 4 years & has had practice driving a big box truck .,,, but this is our first Class A RV & he drove it like a champ!! I am very proud of John for doing such a great job driving Diesel, our bus . So we left at noon and got to the KOA at about 3:30pm & pulled into our slip right next to the lake. This was nice because my bedroom windows next to my bed overlook the water so I look at the lake !! I am so unbelievably happy in our bus, I am still in shock that we were actually able to buy it & make it ours!! Diesel is the perfect bus for us…. It only sleeps 4, which is what we want because we are only 2 people plus 2 dogs. So we did not want bunk beds in our rig , we wanted more living space instead & that is what we got!! We got a 6ft countertop kitchen with Dishwasher (wish I probably will not use) convection microwave oven, stove & double sink …Whirlpool Double door fridge with freezer on the bottom, washer & dryer & 2 TV’s (which we have to connect) ….the coach is immaculate & we are so very proud to own it !! The KOA we are staying at is one we have been to Before & we like it @StAugustinekoaholisay is a nice little KOA with a pool, a lake & more we like the pull thru slips right next to the lake . We brought both our bikes so we could ride around St. Augustine. I got up early the next day ready to wzplore St. Augustine. I woke John up & got his breakfast together for him,,, got him up & going so we could head out as soon as he was done We spent the entire afternoon walking around the mall taking pictures &.going in speciality shops . We went in my favorite Stempunk store & I bought an Ailen in a bottle & two tiny jars to add to my tiny collection. We went in the candy store & I did some damage there, I bought several pounds of gummy candy, several different gummy candy packages for Lexy Sixx, & a few pounds of fudge! Yes I do love candy & I enjoyed myself in that store! We went in several orher stores & just had a great time walking along the mall ! We rode back to our rig & I made us an awesome chef salad for dinner . I made an excellent salad all the fixings, ham, cheese, bacon, turkey, etc . We had a nice night on the rig listening to music & being together enjoying our rig !! St. Augustine is such a lovely place, I am glad we came !
